Get Inspired By “Eye Inspiration”

Ok, so the stars have been doing this for a while. Why are we just now talking about it? Hmmmm….maybe because it is still trending. Not only is the color liner “Eye Inspiration” still trending, but the creative edge seems to keep flowing. Color combinations, added details and more! This trend is going to the next level and spring/2013 is the perfect way to keep it going.

Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, Beyonce, Nicole Richie, Kim Kardashian and the list goes on. What’s your eye inspiration? You can us one color or combine just about any two colors together to come up with one great masterpiece.

Our contributing style and make-up guru Leena McGey insist that the trick to mastering this simple but colorful trend is to…

1. Make sure your outfit doesn’t over power your eye color. Simple attire with a little color will draw the focus away from too many colors clashing.

2. Make sure your face is bare with a nude lip. Only the daring diva who wants to really rock out in her own way is brave enough to add a color lip. Again, too many color clashes can throw this trend off.

3. Start small with just one color. Many people think this trend will only look good when you add color combinations. Nope! that’s not true.

4.  Only apply warm tones for your day job. If you work a daily 9 to 5 job, this trend can over power your professional look. The everyday working person should try bright colors on their days off, weekend and during their night life. Only apply warm tones for work.

Spring is in the air. Get inspired by some “Eye Inspiration”
